How do you feel about the way British Pubs are disappearing fast? Earlier in the year, Emma Purshouse and Heather Wastie began researching the history and culture of the British pub, asking people to express their feelings through reminiscence and creative writing. The newly formed Brewers’ Troupe now present some of their findings so far in an intimate and entertaining performance where the audience is invited to respond to what they have seen and heard. This performance is part of Kidderminster Arts festival.

ADMISSION FREE

With financial assistance from Wyre Forest District Council.Brewers’ Troupe receive financial assistance from the Elmley Foundation and are supported by Worcestershire County Council.

PUREandGOODandRIGHT is an Open Mic poetry event
taking place at our old haunt THE FOX, Leamington Spa.

Each month we also invite a fabulous guest performance poet and this month we are delighted to have with us the highly amusing and very clever Emma Purshouse

Emma is a freelance performance poet, writer, stand-up comedienne and workshop facilitator. She lives in the City of Wolverhampton a few miles north of Birmingham. Emma performs her work nationally, is a published author and winner of poetry slams.
